The University of Bergen, Unifob AS and CMR cordially invited to “Workshop on Cable-Based Ocean Observatories” arranged in Bergen June 11-12 2007. A number of keynotes and invited talks covering research programs in North-America and Europe as well as industry projects in the North Sea was given.
The main objective and delivery from the workshop was a catalogue on ideas and possibilities regarding international research and technology. Each participant was invited to suggest research topics within his or her own scientific field. Workshop task on Monday was “Suggest research topics within your own scientific field”. Question that was to be answered during “Discussion in groups” on Tuesday was “Based on the previous’s workshop groups and this day’s lectures; what new possibilities do you see?”.
The workshop took place at Radisson SAS Hotel Norge, Nedre Ole Bulls pl 4. The Keynote on NEPTUNE Monday 17:30 at University of Bergen, Realfagbygget, Allégate 41.
